After several workshops on wet on wet watercolor painting, I finally was able to successfully paint an abstract of lilies. With lively splashes of ultramarine blue, I added forget-me-nots to provide a colorful contrast. A person from my past once gave me forget-me-nots and when I researched the plant, I learned they are also called Scorpion Grasses. Figures.
